Children of the World (India) Trust is looking for compassionate and committed volunteers who can spend quality time with children through engaging, joyful, and supportive interactions.

This opportunity is about building connection, trust, and encouragement through your presence.

By spending just one hour a week with the children over a minimum period of four weeks, you can create moments of joy, confidence, learning, and belonging that make a lasting difference.

Whether through conversation, storytelling, games, creative activities, reading, simple learning exercises, or just being a positive and attentive companion, your time can help create a safe and nurturing space for children to engage, express, and grow.

Consistency matters more than expertise.

As a volunteer, you may:

• Spend one-on-one or small group time with children
• Read stories and encourage conversation
• Play simple educational or recreational games
• Support art, craft, drawing, music, or creative expression activities
• Engage children through fun learning interactions
• Encourage confidence, communication, and social interaction
• Offer positive encouragement and attentive companionship
• Build meaningful rapport through regular presence and engagement
