As a Social Media & Digital Marketing Volunteer, you will help translate on-ground impact into meaningful digital narratives. This role goes beyond posting content - you will contribute to shaping how people understand education, equity, and social change.
You will also gain insight into how grassroots organisations communicate with diverse stakeholders while maintaining authenticity, dignity, and sensitivity.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Create and manage content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
- Develop simple content calendars aligned with ongoing programs and campaigns
- Develop engaging, thoughtful social media content such as designing posts, creating reels, and writing blogs that highlight the organization’s work and impact
- Translate field stories into impactful digital narratives (with guidance)
- Support awareness and fundraising campaigns through digital outreach
- Manage community engagement by responding to interactions and building stronger connections with supporters
- Track social media performance, review analytics, and research competitors or similar organizations to improve strategy and reach
